Top Performers

2020 F Henry Coleman - Team Loaded (VA)

The 6-foot-7 plus forward, Henry Coleman, had a stellar day for Team Loaded (VA). Coleman got things going for himself in their first matchup against Wildcats Select (WV), where he posted 21 points and 6 rebounds. He was able to show his defensive versatility against Dream Vision (CA) in their second matchup as he was matched up with top-50 2020 C Makur Maker. Henry was able to be an elite scorer inside around the basket and his power and strength downlow was nearly unstoppable.

UNC 2020 C Day'Ron Sharpe - Garner Road (NC)

Day'Ron Sharpe has had himself a spring, summer with Garner Road (NC) this year. After starring at the NBA Top 100 Camp, the 6-foot-10 big man bought his skills to Birmingham. He averaged 18.5 points per game in Garner Road's two games on day one. He will be a perfect fit for Roy William's system. Day'Ron runs the floor extremely well, rebounds at a high level, and just plays with a high level motor on both ends of the floor.

2020 PG Deivon Smith - Atlanta Celtics (GA)

One of the nation's breakout prospects, Deivon Smith has led the Atlanta Celtics to a 14-3 overall record in the 2019 Adidas Gauntlet and a unbeaten day to secure the number seed in their pool after day one. Smith averaged 17.5 points per game in the Celtic's two games in Birmingham. He was able to show his gifted athleticism, his in between game was on display, and he also posted 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the Celtic's win over Garner Road (NC).

2020 SG Kyree Walker - Dream Vision (CA)

The 6-foot-5 shooting guard Kyree Walker literally still plays with a chip on his shoulder. Walker made a statement in his first game in Alabama posting an 18 point, 7 assists, and 5 rebound performance against Team Loaded (VA). Walker holds great size at his position and is a certified playmaker on both ends of the floor. He plays with high energy and it feeds off on his teammates for sure. Walker is a stud and will continue to play his game consistently.

Top Games

Compton Magic Elite (CA) vs Indiana Elite (IN)

The Compton Magic Elite and Indiana Elite matchup was certainly one of the top games of the day. The number one player in the country, 2020 C Evan Mobley, was not present in this one but that did not stop Magic from competing. 2020 guards Paris Dawson, Chibuzo Agbo and, Jaylen Clark led the way for Compton Magic early as they were up 43-33 midway through the second half. Indiana Elite then gained momentum and went on a 32-17 run to end the game and take the win over Compton Magic Elite 65-60. 2020 SG Trey Galloway and 2021 PG Khristian Lander led the comeback for Indiana Elite.

Game Elite (FL) vs NY Jayhawks (NY)

The Game Elite (FL) vs NY Jayhawks (NY) matchup was arguably the number overall matchup of the day. It was a back-and-forth afair throughout the game and both squads were playing at a high level. With just a few seconds left in regulation, 2020 PG Andre Curbelo of the NY Jayhawks gave 2020 F Zed Key a sweet pass to tie the game and send it into overtime. Curbelo and company ended up winning the game while Game Elite (FL) was led by 2020 C Ebenezer Dowouna with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Clutch Performers

2020 PG Andre Curbelo - NY Jayhawks (NY)

After reading about his performance against Game Elite (FL), it was without question that Mr. Curbelo received the day's most clutched  performer. While his squad was down two points towards the end of regulation, Andre took matters into his own hands and giving his teammate 2020 F Zed Key a nice behind the back pass to tie the game and send it into overtime. The rising senior finished with 14 points, 7 assists, and 7 rebounds in his clutch performance.
